Our latest Spotlight falls on Orrell’s prodigal son and first team vice-captain, Andrew Baybutt. Possibly one of the best cricketers to have come through the junior ranks so far at Winstanley Road. Andy left the club in 2012 to pursue a life on the cricket circuit at Ormskirk, where he bagged two league titles and an ECB National Cup appearance, amongst a host of silverware. She is our eldest female player and brings lots of experience to our club, having played for our senior teams in the past. Matty has played District, Inter League and County Trial Regional Festivals Cricket. In 2019, he was our Club No.2 batsman, coming only 2nd to his younger brother, Dom.
